You are motivated by a career in sales and have a strong desire to succeed alongside your teammates. You possess fluency in at least one Nordic language, such as Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, or Swedish, which is essential for this role. You have an innate curiosity to learn and are comfortable with the challenges that come with sales, including learning from rejection. Your written and verbal communication skills are proven, allowing you to effectively engage with potential customers and internal stakeholders.
As a Sales Development Representative at Datadog, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating customer leads to assist in the overall business growth segment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various Datadog teams to drive initial prospect qualification and schedule discovery meetings. Your role will involve developing, presenting, and implementing strategies for acquiring new business, as well as conducting outbound outreach through cold calling and emailing prospective customers. You will learn to follow a well-defined methodology to help identify a customer's unique needs, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of Datadog's solutions in their digital transformation and migration to the cloud.
