Job Description

Amazon Mexico Gift Cards is searching for a bright and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sr. Program Manager (Sr. PM) responsible for leading the MX B2B GC business. This leader will evaluate and onboard new B2B resellers, negotiate to drive lower discount rates, set up direct B2B sales channel, drive growth in direct sales channel, develop relationships with internal Amazon teams to expand GC corporate sales, launch Incentives platform, and perform Monthly Business Reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Main output metrics are to grow New to Amazon Customers, GC issuance, and profitability. This leader owns B2B planning cycle, driving issuance projects, and defining, measuring, executing and reporting goals across all MX GC Business, with full ownership of B2B channel. The candidate must have strong project management skills, strong verbal and written Spanish/English communication skills, strong GC financial acumen, negotiation and partner management skills, and a high degree of Ownership and Bias for Action. The candidate must be a self-starter, and have the excellent skills to clearly communicate with senior management, explain complex problems, present project progress and blockers, and recommend solutions. The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently and generate high-quality work products in an ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
• Define the strategy and track towards key goals for all GC B2B channel.
• Drive continuous improvement across the B2B GC end-to-end direct and indirect sales process.
• Manage GC international team partnerships to launch new product features and improve existing ones.
• Communicate B2B GC regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership (i.e., WBR, QBR, flashes) including progress to goals, opportunities and roadblocks
• Forecast MX B2B GC key inputs in partnership with leadership teams in the annual budget planning process.
• Work with existing and potential partners/resellers to grow the B2B Gift Card business in MX through different use cases and verticals.
• Increase GC NTAs, issuance, and profitability in B2B channel.
• Drive GC B2B key input and output goals, including new business signings, new business issuance, discount rate, and profitability targets.
• Independently manage complex contract negotiations for new and renewal B2B clients while working with senior executives inside and outside of Amazon
• Identify and develop cross-sell or bundling opportunities with other Amazon business units that can be offered in conjunction with Amazon Gift Cards - 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate of completion of studies requires, and at least 8+ years of professional background
- Fluency in both, Spanish and English- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
