Carta is seeking an International Tax Manager to join their Fund Tax team. You'll leverage Carta’s proprietary tax engine to file tax returns for Venture Capital clients. This role requires expertise in international tax regulations and experience in fund administration.
You have a strong background in international tax, with at least 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory roles. You understand the complexities of tax regulations across different jurisdictions and have a proven track record of working with venture capital or private equity clients. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate intricate tax scenarios and provide strategic insights to clients. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients and team members alike. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
As an International Tax Manager at Carta, you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance process for our Venture Capital clients. This includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and advising clients on tax planning strategies. You will leverage Carta’s proprietary tax engine to streamline the filing process and enhance accuracy. You will also collaborate with fund managers and CFOs to provide insights on tax implications related to fund operations and investments. Your role will involve staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising clients on how these changes may impact their tax positions. You will work closely with the Fund Tax team to develop best practices and improve processes, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. Additionally, you will participate in client meetings, providing expert guidance and answering any tax-related questions they may have.
