Axon is seeking a Vice President of Sales Engineering to lead a global team of technical sales professionals. You'll design and execute a pre-sales strategy to ensure customer success with innovative products. This role requires strong leadership and strategic alignment with business objectives.
You have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales engineering teams, with at least 10 years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, enabling your team to excel in delivering technical excellence. You possess a deep understanding of the public safety sector and the technology that drives it, allowing you to bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities. You are skilled in developing and executing strategic plans that align with business objectives, ensuring that your team contributes to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You are adept at building relationships with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to create a cohesive approach to pre-sales activities. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
Experience in the public safety or enterprise technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with AI solutions and cloud software. A background in engineering or a related technical field will enhance your ability to lead a team of technical professionals. You are comfortable with travel and can adapt to the demands of a global organization.
