Principal (Associate General Counsel) – Japan Legal

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute on a variety of legal and compliance matters across Coupang Japan’s business operations. You will advise, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with third parties, ensuring that all agreements align with the company's objectives and legal standards. You will support new business and product launches, providing legal insights that help drive innovation and growth. Collaborating closely with internal business partners, including the Business, Product, and Operations teams, you will ensure that legal considerations are integrated into strategic decisions. Your role will also involve staying updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that Coupang remains compliant in its operations.
