You have 8 to 15 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, particularly in corporate tax and value-added tax. Your background includes working with large-scale research activities and understanding the complexities of tax regulations in the e-commerce industry. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with business teams to optimize transaction structures. You are also proficient in English and hold a CPA or tax advisor qualification, which enhances your ability to navigate the regulatory landscape.

Desirable

Experience in reviewing tax credits related to research and development activities in the IT sector is a plus. Familiarity with international tax issues and the ability to manage overseas research tax credits will set you apart. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Korea Tax team in providing comprehensive tax compliance services, including corporate tax and value-added tax filings. You will identify and evaluate tax incentives and credits, such as those related to research and development, ensuring that Coupang maximizes its benefits. You will also provide advisory services on new business transactions, helping to navigate tax implications and compliance requirements. Regular collaboration with business teams will be essential to review optimal transaction structures and ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.
