Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale efficiency and performance initiatives within the Alloy team. You'll work with AWS resources to optimize operational efficiency across Amazon's complex eCommerce platform. This role requires strong program management skills and experience in technical environments.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in technical program management, successfully leading cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency and performance improvements. Your background includes a strong understanding of distributed systems and the ability to bridge technical vision with operational execution. You thrive in complex environments and are adept at managing multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Your expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure allows you to identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance enhancements. You are skilled in data analysis and can leverage metrics to inform decision-making and prioritize initiatives. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges head-on. Your experience includes working with engineering teams to implement scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You understand the importance of collaboration and are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team.

Desirable

Experience with AI/ML workloads and GPU efficiency infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with software performance profiling and data lifecycle management will further enhance your ability to contribute to the Alloy team's objectives.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon, you will lead the execution of large-scale programs aimed at optimizing performance and efficiency across Amazon's distributed systems. You will collaborate with various teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
