Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting Operations to lead all revenue-related activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and providing actionable insights into revenue trends. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with various departments.
You have extensive experience in revenue accounting operations, ideally with a focus on revenue recognition and compliance with U.S. GAAP. Your background includes leading teams and developing processes that ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Legal, to align financial systems and reporting with company policies. You understand the importance of audit readiness and compliance monitoring, and you are committed to driving real change within your organization.
You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct flux analysis and gross margin analysis effectively. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and developing team members, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. You are proactive in identifying revenue trends and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership that support strategic decision-making.
Experience with SaaS revenue models and contract management is a plus. Familiarity with financial systems and tools that enhance reporting accuracy will set you apart. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can improve operational efficiency.
In this role, you will take ownership of all revenue-related activities, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and U.S. GAAP. You will lead the revenue close process, overseeing reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Your responsibilities will include conducting flux analysis and gross margin analysis to provide insights into revenue performance. You will partner with various departments to ensure that systems and processes align with financial reporting requirements.
You will be responsible for audit support and compliance monitoring, ensuring that all revenue-related activities are conducted in accordance with internal controls and external regulations. Your leadership will guide the team in developing best practices for revenue recognition and contract management, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
You will also play a key role in cross-functional governance, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Legal, IT, FP&A, and Commercial Controllership to ensure that financial reporting aligns with company objectives. Your insights will help shape strategic decisions and drive operational improvements across the organization.
