Overview

Tanium is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of their Comply product. You'll collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product strategy and execution. This role requires a strong foundation in product management principles and excellent communication skills.

Who you are

You have a solid foundation in product management principles and a successful track record of working with stakeholders on new products. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing. You understand customer needs and are committed to ensuring their satisfaction and adoption of the product. You thrive in an individual contributor role and are driven to deliver results.

You possess experience in developing and executing product strategies, particularly in vulnerability management and compliance. You are adept at owning the delivery of product roadmaps from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with stakeholders through clear communication of timelines and deliverables. Your ability to document customer use cases and product requirements is essential for new feature development.

You engage in continuous discovery, testing key assumptions and validating product decisions through direct customer engagement and feedback sessions. Your analytical mindset allows you to perform ongoing competitive analysis to inform product direction and strategy. You are passionate about driving product vision and development across all levels of the organization.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity or compliance domain would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for product management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and execute Tanium's vulnerability management and compliance strategy. You will own the delivery of the product roadmap, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful launches. Your responsibilities will include maintaining stakeholder alignment through effective communication of timelines and deliverables. You will work with other Product Managers to define the strategic short- and long-term technical roadmap of products, ensuring that product outcomes align with business objectives.

You will document customer use cases, product requirements, and business justifications for new feature development. Engaging in continuous discovery, you will test key assumptions and validate product decisions through direct customer engagement and feedback sessions. Your role will also involve performing ongoing competitive analysis to stay ahead in the market.
