Your attention to detail ensures that sterility assurance and contamination control programs are maintained effectively in a sterile pharmaceutical compounding facility. You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including 503A/503B regulations, USP <797>/<800>/<1116>, and cGMP standards. You possess excellent leadership skills, enabling you to manage and improve the facility’s Environmental Monitoring (EM) Program. What you'll do

As the Microbiology Manager, you will oversee the Environmental Monitoring (EM) Program, ensuring that all sampling and microbiological activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead microbial investigations, identifying root causes of contamination and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Your role will involve developing and managing protocols that enhance the facility's sterility assurance and contamination control measures.

You will collaborate closely with analytical laboratories, acting as the microbiology liaison to ensure that all microbiological testing is performed accurately and efficiently. Your expertise will guide the team in maintaining compliance with 503A/503B regulations and USP standards, ensuring that the facility operates within the highest quality and safety standards.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in training and mentoring staff on microbiological practices and compliance requirements.
