The Robotics Trade Strategy (RTS) team expertly navigates complex regulatory compliance requirements to enable seamless business operations while mitigating operational and legal risks. As trusted advisors, we partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliant import/export operations that support our global robotics initiatives.

RTS is seeking an adaptable Trade Compliance expert who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at solving complex, large-scale challenges. In this role, you will execute critical import and export compliance operations while partnering with Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and other key stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with external vendors to implement trade requirements, support global supply chain initiatives, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, bringing a startup mindset to our fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Execute import/export processes and drive trade compliance solutions that maximize import/export efficiency
- Provide subject matter expertise to manage compliance workflow mechanisms
- Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance on our projects and processes
- Perform project management to enable delivery of team assignments and objectives
- Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures
- Proactively identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives
- Leverage data to continuously improve compliance at Amazon Robotics
- Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics for all related activities- Program or project management Experience
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in driving process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
