Axon is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive for their Air products to drive engagements with State Patrol agencies. You'll manage critical partner relationships and deliver integrated operational outcomes. This role requires strong advisory skills and experience in public safety solutions.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in complex environments, and possess the ability to engage with senior public safety leaders effectively. Your experience includes managing critical partner relationships and driving strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals. You understand the nuances of working with government agencies and have a strong grasp of the challenges they face. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a knack for building trust with stakeholders.
Experience in the public safety sector or with drone technology is a plus. Familiarity with the operational needs of law enforcement agencies will set you apart. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly in response to changing circumstances, ensuring that you remain aligned with the needs of your clients.
As a Senior Strategic Account Executive at Axon, you will partner closely with the Key Account Leader to drive high-impact engagements with State Patrol agencies. Your role will involve deploying drone, counter-drone, and Drone as First Responder (DFR) solutions, ensuring that these technologies are effectively integrated into the agencies' operations. You will serve as a strategic advisor, helping to shape the deployment of these solutions to meet the specific needs of each agency.
You will manage critical partner relationships, including Axon’s partnership with Skydio, to deliver integrated, real-time operational outcomes. Your ability to connect with diverse perspectives will be essential as you work to understand the unique challenges faced by each agency and tailor solutions accordingly. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that clients feel supported and valued throughout the engagement process.
Travel will be a significant part of your role, with a minimum of 60% required to meet with clients and stakeholders across your territory. You will need to be based within one hour of a major airport to facilitate this travel. Your autonomy in this role will allow you to manage your schedule effectively while ensuring that you meet the needs of your clients.
