Who you are

You are an experienced Offensive Security Professional with a strong background in maintaining security systems within complex architectures. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you have a deep understanding of security vulnerabilities and the methodologies to exploit them. You are proficient in using tools such as Burp Suite and Metasploit, and you have a solid grasp of OWASP principles. Your expertise in Linux environments allows you to navigate and secure various systems effectively. You are adaptable and capable of collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams to enhance security practices across the organization. You thrive in a culture that values continuous improvement and are eager to contribute to a team that prioritizes security.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security and familiarity with cryptocurrency platforms would be advantageous. You are also encouraged to bring any additional certifications or training that demonstrate your commitment to the field of offensive security.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments and penetration testing on BitMEX's systems and applications. You will work closely with the Product Security team to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the outset. You will also assist in developing security policies and procedures that align with industry best practices. Regularly reporting on security findings and providing guidance on risk management will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive work culture that emphasizes growth and collaboration.
