Overview

Google is seeking a Mobile Engineer to develop Android applications for Google Workspace. You'll work with Java and Kotlin to create high-performance mobile solutions. This position requires 2 years of experience in Android application development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin. Your background includes 2 years of experience in Android application development, showcasing your ability to create robust mobile applications that meet user needs. You possess a strong understanding of performance, large-scale systems, and data analysis, which allows you to optimize applications effectively. Your experience with data structures and algorithms, whether in an academic or industry setting, equips you with the skills to tackle complex problems. You are proficient in diagnosing and resolving code and system health issues, ensuring that applications run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you have a keen interest in developing accessible technologies, demonstrating your commitment to inclusivity in software design.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field would be a plus, as would experience with visualization tools or debugging techniques. Your familiarity with software test engineering will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do
