Overview

Google is seeking a Program Manager for their Data Center Regional Portfolio Planning team. You'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, managing cross-functional programs related to data center infrastructure and real estate development. This role requires 5+ years of experience in program management or planning.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with equivalent practical experience. With at least 5 years of experience managing cross-functional programs, you have a strong background in program management or planning specifically for data center infrastructure and real estate development. Your experience includes working with data centers or other infrastructure in areas such as supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering. You possess the ability to independently develop data-driven technical insights and translate them into executable commercial solutions for the business. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to deliver clear and concise messages tailored to your audience, effectively telling a data-driven story around key business insights. You excel in planning and communication management within a cross-functional leadership role, adept at creating project plans that break down work into discrete phases while managing dependencies. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders involved.

What you'll do

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate various players and keep them updated on progress and risks from site acquisition through construction completion. You will ensure accountability and on-time performance of the regional plans, serving as the central bridge and point of contact for regional planning. Cultivating strong relationships will be key as you align the internal business drivers of all key stakeholders, including Finance, Land, Energy, Network, and Construction, with the regional infrastructure plans.

What we offer

While specific benefits and compensation details are not mentioned, Google is known for providing competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits packages. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and encourages professional growth. As part of a leading technology company, you will contribute to projects that have a significant impact on infrastructure and real estate development, shaping the future of data centers globally.
