Who you are

You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechanical Engineering, or possess equivalent qualifications with substantial practical experience in automation technology. You are the go-to person for control systems, sensors, communication protocols, and automation processes. You have a strong background in troubleshooting and optimizing automation systems, ensuring high availability for production teams. Your analytical skills allow you to monitor and continuously improve systems effectively. You are proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability. You are also familiar with documentation processes and maintenance management systems, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately.

What you'll do

As an Automation Engineer at HelloFresh, you will actively monitor, analyze, and continuously optimize our systems to ensure high availability for our production teams. You will be responsible for the maintenance of automation, robotics, and control systems, implementing continuous improvement projects. You will independently handle troubleshooting and repairs on PLCs, SCADA systems, cameras, sensors, and other automation components. Your role will involve resolving equipment failures and ensuring smooth production operations. You will create technical reports on disturbances and improvement measures using efficiency and analysis tools. Additionally, you will document all activities and processes in the computer-based maintenance management system (CMMS) and the ticketing system. You will conduct root cause analyses for disturbances and outages, implementing suitable improvement concepts sustainably.
