Microsoft is hiring a Technical Program Manager for the Datacenter Build Management team to oversee integration and technical infrastructure projects. This role requires strong project management skills and a background in data center construction.
You have a strong background in project management, particularly in data center construction and telecom project management. Your interpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring that all integration and fit-out activities are executed smoothly. You are self-directed and possess excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. You understand the importance of documentation and are committed to ensuring that all handover processes meet operational expectations.
Experience in managing scopes and interdependencies between internal and external stakeholders is a plus. Familiarity with financial management functions related to project approvals will enhance your candidacy. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing project requirements.
As the Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all integration and fit-out activities associated with Microsoft-owned systems and services in new data center builds or lease facilities. You will manage project plans and execute major milestones, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating with landlords and vendors to facilitate the physical construction process, as well as managing the handover process to operations teams. You will produce and manage project documentation, ensuring that all expectations are met for a successful handover.
You will also be responsible for identifying and managing scopes and interdependencies between various stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. You will play a key role in financial approval processes, ensuring that all project expenditures are tracked and managed appropriately.
