Amazon is seeking a proactive and result oriented Accounting Manager based in Beijing. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with worldwide Amazon to ensure high quality and timely deliverables. This role should have a solid understanding of US GAAP, tech backgrounds of finance/accounting related automation projects, excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to business stakeholders, as well as a passion to continuously enhance processes.

Key job responsibilities
• Supporting various aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
• Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in their area and to design new processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
• Execute judgments to keep projects moving and ensure the right decisions are reached to close the books each month.
• Escalating risks and issues as necessary to leadership.
• Strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change across the organization.- 8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
- University degree in business/economics/accounting
- Experience working with IFRS or US GAAP
- Demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines on critical projects
- Detail-oriented yet able to reflect on and understand the big picture
- Fluent in business English, both verbal and written
- Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced global company- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 8+ years of experience with an emphasis on accounting, preferably, gained within an accounting firm or a medium to large international company, in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications and SQL/ETL
- Hold CPA or similar credentials
- Experience in project management with exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing
- Strong priority management and communication skills
