This role requires a strong FP&A or data background, with prior exposure to payments or credit considered.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise in data analysis allows you to derive insights that drive business decisions, and you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You understand the intricacies of revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) drivers, and you are adept at managing product profit and loss statements. Your previous experience in the payments or credit sector gives you a unique perspective on financial operations in this space. You are a proactive communicator, able to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company.

Desirable

Experience with advanced financial modeling and forecasting techniques is a plus. Familiarity with financial software and tools will help you excel in this role. A background in working with small to medium enterprises (SMEs) is advantageous, as it aligns with Tide's mission to support this sector. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.

You will take end-to-end ownership of a product P&L, ensuring that financial performance aligns with strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing financial models to support decision-making, analyzing revenue streams, and identifying areas for cost optimization. You will collaborate with various departments to gather insights and provide financial guidance that supports operational efficiency. Regular reporting and presentation of financial results to senior management will be a key part of your role, helping to shape the company's financial strategy. You will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that financial targets are met and communicated effectively across the organization. Your insights will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success in the competitive SME banking market.

Tide offers a dynamic work environment where innovation and collaboration are encouraged. You will be part of a diverse team that values different perspectives and experiences. The company is committed to your professional development, providing opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization. You will have access to resources and tools that enable you to perform at your best, and you will be supported by a leadership team that prioritizes transparency and open communication. As Tide continues to expand its reach and impact, you will have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference for SMEs across the globe.
