Apple is hiring a Silicon Validation Software Engineer to develop software for validating high-speed IO IP blocks. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure high-quality functional products. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related field. You possess a strong understanding of embedded systems and are familiar with SoC and system architecture. Your experience includes working with board schematics and using test equipment and analyzers for data analysis. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating elegant solutions to complex challenges.
Experience with high-speed IO validation is a plus, as is familiarity with validation plans and debugging SOC issues. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, architecture, and design teams. Your ability to coordinate and run tests effectively will contribute to the success of the Silicon Validation team.
In this role, you will be part of the SOC Silicon Validation team, responsible for developing software to validate high-speed IO IP blocks. You will define validation plans and coordinate the bring-up and debugging of SOC issues. Your work will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that Apple products and services can efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality functional products quickly, impacting the next groundbreaking Apple product.
