Okta is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in Security Infrastructure Operations. You'll drive execution across various security programs and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams. This role requires extensive experience in program management and security operations.
You have extensive experience in technical program management, particularly in security infrastructure operations. Your background includes leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution across complex security programs. You excel at bringing clarity to ambiguity and creating structured frameworks for large-scale projects. You are a strategic thinker who can partner effectively with engineering and product leaders to enhance security posture.
You possess a deep understanding of vulnerability management, secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), and application security. Your experience includes working with various security controls and frameworks, ensuring compliance and risk management across corporate and production environments. You are a lifelong learner who values diverse perspectives and is committed to continuous improvement.
You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven track record of working closely with engineering, product, enterprise security, and internal audit teams. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and driving initiatives to successful completion.
Experience with federal security initiatives and top threat management is a plus. Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure security best practices will enhance your candidacy. You are comfortable navigating regulatory requirements and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
In this role, you will lead critical cross-functional initiatives within TDI Security, anchoring large, multi-team programs that enhance Okta's security posture. You will establish delivery frameworks and ensure successful execution across various security programs, including vulnerability management and secure SDLC. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving collaboration among engineering, product, and security teams to accelerate secure delivery and reduce risk.
You will create structured approaches to complex efforts, ensuring clarity and alignment among stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include managing program timelines, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication across teams. You will also be responsible for tracking progress and reporting on key metrics to ensure accountability and transparency.
As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will mentor and guide junior program managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in shaping the security strategy and ensuring that security considerations are integrated into all aspects of product development and delivery.
