Neuralink is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead technical initiatives and enhance IT infrastructure. You'll work with Linux, networking, and cloud services to support groundbreaking research. This role requires a proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in building and deploying complex IT systems that meet demanding requirements. Your expertise spans both hardware and software, allowing you to effectively support a diverse user base, from technical engineers to non-technical scientists and doctors. You thrive in collaborative environments, proactively identifying opportunities for impact and driving projects forward. Your strong customer service skills enable you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met with robust solutions.

You are familiar with networking principles and have hands-on experience with Linux systems. Your ability to work with cloud services is essential, as you will be responsible for deploying scalable solutions that support critical functions within the organization. You understand the importance of security and reliability in IT systems, and you are committed to maintaining high standards in your work. You are also open to mentoring team members, sharing your knowledge, and helping others grow in their roles.

Desirable

Experience with open-source technologies and custom-built systems is a plus. Familiarity with IT policies and best practices will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and willing to learn new technologies as needed to meet the evolving demands of the organization.

What you'll do

As a Systems Engineer at Neuralink, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the IT infrastructure that supports our groundbreaking research and development efforts. You will identify, build, and deploy systems that meet the unique needs of our diverse user base. This includes working on both physical hardware and custom tooling designed to facilitate neural recordings and other critical functions.
