Parafin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their ML Platform to design and maintain scalable systems for machine learning applications. You'll work with Python and AWS, focusing on model experimentation and deployment. This role requires significant experience in software engineering and machine learning.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable systems that support machine learning applications. Your expertise in Python allows you to develop robust solutions for model experimentation and deployment, ensuring high reliability and performance. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage their services for machine learning workflows. Your experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes enables you to create efficient and maintainable deployment pipelines. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with data scientists and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions for small businesses. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of machine learning.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus, as it will help you contribute to the development of advanced ML models. Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow can also be beneficial in streamlining the data processing workflows that support your applications.
In this role, you will lead the evolution of Parafin's ML Platform, focusing on building reliable and developer-friendly systems for model experimentation, training, evaluation, inference, and retraining. You will design and implement scalable architectures that support the deployment of machine learning models, ensuring they can handle the demands of real-time applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the systems you build meet the needs of the business and its partners. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of deployed models, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance their effectiveness. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth within the organization.
