Verkada is seeking a Senior Product Designer to deliver best-in-class web and mobile tools. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create user interface designs and prototypes. This role requires strong design skills and experience in a collaborative environment.
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, focusing on creating user-centric web and mobile applications. Your portfolio showcases a range of projects that highlight your ability to craft elegant and powerful user interfaces. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to bring ideas to life. You are proficient in design tools such as Figma and have a strong understanding of interaction design principles. You are passionate about user experience and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every pixel is perfectly placed. You enjoy brainstorming sessions and can inspire others with your creative ideas. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly based on feedback and changing requirements.
Experience with agile methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with user research techniques. You may have worked in the physical security or SaaS industries, giving you insights into the unique challenges faced by users in these fields. A background in visual design or branding can also enhance your contributions to the team.
