What you'll do

As the Capital Markets Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing loan funding capital for Upstart's AI lending marketplace. You will collaborate with leading institutional investors to develop diverse financing solutions that meet the needs of both Upstart and its partners. Your responsibilities will include overseeing securitization programs and managing relationships with investors to ensure successful funding outcomes.

You will analyze market conditions and trends to identify opportunities for new funding strategies, working closely with the Structured Products team to implement innovative solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial as you present funding proposals and negotiate terms that align with Upstart's objectives.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development of Upstart's capital markets strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the company's mission of improving access to affordable credit. You will monitor the performance of funding programs and make recommendations for enhancements based on data-driven insights.
