Overview

Xometry is seeking an Account Executive III to manage and convert inbound inquiries from customers. You'll focus on building relationships with Fortune 500 clients and aligning their needs with Xometry's solutions. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a focus on achieving sales goals.

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing inbound inquiries and converting them into successful business relationships. Your ability to understand customer needs, especially in the context of prototype parts and production requirements, sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with engineering staff, program management, and procurement teams to align with customer objectives. Your achievement-oriented mindset drives you to exceed annual sales goals, and you are comfortable navigating the complexities of the manufacturing industry.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing sector or with Fortune 500 clients would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and strategic planning for enterprise accounts will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and can think outside the box to find innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for selling Xometry's solutions to Fortune 500 customers, focusing on understanding their unique needs and demonstrating the value of our offerings. You will spend a significant portion of your time learning about our business and how to align our services with the strategic objectives of our customers. Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering staff and executive management, will be crucial to your success. You will initiate and set up sales calls and presentations, ensuring that our solutions are effectively communicated to prospective clients. Your role will also involve strategic planning and roadmapping for enterprise accounts, allowing you to contribute to the long-term success of both Xometry and its clients.
