Join the International TV team who are responsible for Apple’s TV business (TV and TV App), driving overall revenue and subscriber growth, curating and managing the TV app experience, programming and editorialising while striving to acquire engage and retain subscribers for Apple TV and our partners. We are looking for an industry expert with a blend of critical thinking and strong commercial foresight, with a proven track record in crafting and delivering initiatives to build revenue. You will first and foremost be responsible for taking revenue generation projects from conception to implementation for Apple TV across over 100 International markets (ex. US). You will also work in close collaboration with our Business Development team and Local Market teams to strategize and assess new partnership and distribution opportunities, as well as finding new, innovative ways to go to market and drive awareness and adoption of Apple TV. In this role you will sit as both part of the International team based in London, but also have a strong link into the global team in California so you are in a position to both champion local initiatives for roadmap prioritisation and clearly communicate and roll-out Global initiatives to the best effect in International markets.Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience working in digital media and/or TV, with a significant proportion spent in Commercial and / or Strategy functions Proven understanding of the SVOD business, key Global / International players, distribution models and industry trends Experience of working and prioritising across multiple International markets Proven experience on the end-to-end subscription funnel at an SVOD or Pay TV business, optimising to drive uptake, retention, revenue and LTV. A commercial, data-driven and analytical approach, with deep experience in developing, sizing and prioritising business cases for new initiatives to drive business growth. Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills. A natural presenter who can quickly distill complex information to provide clarity and gain buy-in up to Leadership A strong understanding of content distribution models across platforms and services An appreciation and passion for storytelling in TV and movies. A heavy Apple TV consumer The right mix of collaboration, influence and relationship building skills to be effective in a large cross-functional organisation Flexible and able to adjust quickly in a fast-evolving, high-profile businessPreferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree desirable; MBA or equivalent degree preferred.Responsibilities
Develop new initiatives that improve subscriber acquisition, retention and/or revenue growth across all International markets Build business cases and forecasts for new commercial initiatives, aligning with overall company strategy and financial objectives Identify and develop regional growth opportunities, adapting to the unique needs and opportunities in each geo, whilst ensuring alignment with global objectives and positioning Evaluate new monetisation opportunities, partnerships and distribution models Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative ways to maintain a competitive edge Roll-out Global commercial initiatives across International markets, making recommendations where required for local adaptations This role may require some travel to International regions, Cupertino and Los AngelesEeo Content
