Berkadia is seeking a Client Relations Specialist in Commercial Loan Servicing to act as a liaison between borrowers and various stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills and an understanding of loan servicing processes.
You have experience in client relations or customer operations, ideally within the financial services or commercial real estate sectors. You understand the importance of effective communication and can navigate complex interactions between borrowers and various stakeholders, including government agencies and investors. You are detail-oriented and capable of monitoring loan-specific trigger events to ensure compliance with deadlines and requirements. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to providing exceptional service to clients.
Experience in commercial loan servicing or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with loan documents and servicing agreements will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and can work with management to assess risks associated with loan servicing transfers and draw requests.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, ensuring their requests are handled efficiently and accurately. You will monitor and administer borrower requests, referring them to the appropriate servicing functional business units as needed. Your responsibilities will include providing detailed referral requests that encompass applicable loan documents and investor requirements. You will also be responsible for reviewing loan-specific trigger events and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to meet required deadlines. Collaborating with management, you will assess risks associated with loans and provide comprehensive reviews of construction draw requests.
