Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant to support their inspection center operations. You'll be responsible for detailing vehicles, moving them between departments, and inspecting for defects. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
You are looking for an entry-level position in the automotive industry and are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to lift up to 60 pounds independently. You are comfortable working in various weather conditions and can operate vehicle equipment and tools safely. You have a strong attention to detail, which is essential for inspecting vehicles and identifying any imperfections or defects. You are at least 18 years of age and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any previous experience in automotive detailing or related fields would be a plus. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks quickly will help you succeed in this role. You are open to working overtime as needed based on business demands.
As an Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant at Carvana, you will be responsible for detailing vehicles, which includes washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing to ensure they meet the company’s high standards. You will also serve as a Lot Attendant, moving vehicles from one department to another within the inspection center, ensuring a smooth workflow. Additionally, you may take on the role of a Photobooth Associate, capturing high-quality photos of vehicles for online listings, or work as an Inspection Associate, where you will inspect vehicles for any defects and report your findings accurately. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and presentation of the vehicles that Carvana offers to its customers.
Carvana offers a competitive starting pay of $17 to $18 per hour, depending on your level of experience. You will work a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm, with the possibility of mandatory overtime based on business needs. You will be part of a dynamic team at one of the fastest-growing used automotive retailers in the U.S., where you can gain valuable experience and skills in the automotive industry.
