Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in medical economics or a related field, ideally with a background in actuarial science or corporate finance. Your ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives is a key strength, allowing you to effectively communicate insights to executive leadership and external analysts. You thrive in a collaborative environment, bridging the gap between technical teams and corporate stakeholders. Your leadership experience equips you to guide teams through complex financial discussions and support strategic decision-making processes.

What you'll do

As the Director of Medical Economics, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Quarterly Earnings and Executive Reporting. You will work closely with the Senior Director to provide insights that inform financial planning and strategy. Your responsibilities will include analyzing medical cost trends and presenting findings to the Board of Directors and executive leadership. You will act as a liaison between the actuarial teams and corporate finance, ensuring that complex data is communicated effectively. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

What we offer

Oscar offers a competitive salary range of $192,000 - $252,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this leadership role. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with three days in the office each week, fostering collaboration and team cohesion.
