Who you are

You have a strong background in bioprocessing, particularly in upstream processing techniques. Your experience includes preparing stock solutions, buffers, and media, as well as operating bioreactors and other bioprocess equipment. You are familiar with the passage and expansion of microbial and mammalian cell lines, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment. You understand the importance of maintaining a drug-free workplace and adhere to all safety protocols. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Desirable

Experience with cell and gene therapy processes is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You may also have knowledge of downstream processing techniques, which could enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing upstream operations within the Bioprocess group. This includes the preparation of stock solutions, buffers, and media necessary for bioprocessing activities. You will set up and operate disposable fermenters and bioreactors, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently. Your role will also involve the filtration of stock solutions and media, which is critical for maintaining the quality of the bioprocessing environment. You will be tasked with the passage and expansion of microbial and mammalian cell lines, contributing to the overall success of the bioprocessing operations. Collaboration with other team members will be key, as you will work together to optimize processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operations.
