You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in hands-on environments where you can troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure. Your experience includes working with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and various cooling and power equipment. You understand the importance of uptime in data centers and are committed to ensuring seamless operations. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with diverse groups of engineers and specialists to solve complex problems. As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities that support AWS data centers. Your role will involve working with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and various cooling systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
