Engineering Program Manager, AI/ML, Apple Services Engineering (ASE)

You have a strong background in program management, particularly in the fields of Machine Learning and Generative AI. With at least 5 years of experience, you have successfully led cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope. You thrive in environments that require strategic planning and execution, and you have a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments.

You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects of AI/ML projects. You are comfortable engaging in functional and technical design discussions, and you have experience with requirements analysis and testing. You take pride in your ability to bring order to uncertainty, ensuring that your team stays focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Asana. A background in software engineering or data science can also be beneficial, as it allows for better collaboration with technical teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional Machine Learning and Generative AI programs within Apple Media Products. You will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent ML/GenAI features, encompassing scope definition, requirements gathering, timeline management, and resource allocation. Your ability to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, including Design, Engineering, Data Science, and QA, will be crucial to your success.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all project milestones are met and that the final products meet the high standards expected by Apple customers. This involves coordinating with various teams to align on project goals and deliverables, as well as facilitating discussions to resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Your role will also include monitoring project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track. You will be expected to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
