You are an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing complex data solutions. With over 5 years of experience in the field, you have a deep understanding of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your expertise allows you to tackle challenging data problems and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable collaborating with teams across different regions, including the United States and Latin America. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

You have a passion for the modern data stack and are always eager to learn about new technologies and methodologies. Your experience includes working with tools like dbt and Fivetran, which are essential for building robust data pipelines. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion. You understand the importance of data governance and security, ensuring that solutions are compliant with industry standards.

Desirable

Experience with additional tools such as Pinecone and Glean is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to deliver comprehensive data solutions. Familiarity with data visualization tools and practices will also be beneficial in this role, as you will need to present data insights to clients. A background in data engineering or analytics will further strengthen your candidacy, as it complements the architectural aspects of the position.

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at phData, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with the Managed Services team to deliver our Elastic Operations service, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our customers. Your role will involve assessing client requirements, designing scalable architectures, and overseeing the deployment of solutions across various cloud platforms.

You will engage with clients to understand their data challenges and provide expert guidance on best practices for data management and analytics. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies will be crucial in building strong relationships with clients. You will also mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you will contribute to internal initiatives aimed at improving our service offerings. This may include developing documentation, creating training materials, and participating in knowledge-sharing sessions. You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that phData remains at the forefront of the modern data stack.
