Job Description

Audible Digital Content Specialists are part of the Content Planning & Ops team. They handle various tasks related to the audiobooks catalog on Audible & Amazon websites, including processing content, managing publishing schedules, and maintaining assets and attributes to enhance content discoverability for customers.
Their primary responsibility is to support the Quality Control process related to audiobook content production. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to carefully review and assess long-form audio content to identify potential discrepancies or errors. This skill is essential, as the role requires focused listening and content evaluation over extended periods.

Responsibilities may include:
- Review and edit digital audio content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Listen and assess audiobook content in detail to detect errors or inconsistencies
- Support additional content-related tasks such as metadata verification, asset checks, series page updates and quality checks for Whispersync for Voice compability

The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong sense of ownership
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make decisions without constant supervision
- Strong teamwork skills (contributing to team goals, sharing knowledge)
- Ability to work well with stakeholders outside of SJO
- Interest in online media (audio and print)
- Fluency in Spanish, English and French.
- Excel skills and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a good command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.- Experience with audio processing software and understanding of linguistic principles.
- Knowledge or experience in the publishing industry.
- Familiarity with Audible products.
- Basic understanding of digital audio processing.
- Experience in quality assessment.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in simplifying or automating complex processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
