Amazon is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to lead teams in hardware and network diagnostics and repair. You'll work with AWS technologies and manage diverse teams to ensure optimal data center operations. This role requires strong technical understanding and people management skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in technology management, particularly in data center operations, with a strong emphasis on people management. Your experience includes devising strategies and mentoring individuals at all levels, ensuring that your teams are equipped to tackle complex challenges. You possess a deep technical understanding of data centers, hardware, and network repair, which allows you to propose innovative solutions and sponsor projects effectively. Your organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks are critical to your success in this role, as is your capacity to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently while also managing teams. Your experience includes leading teams through hardware and network diagnostics, as well as participating in on-call rotations to address urgent issues. You understand the importance of documentation and are committed to creating clear and comprehensive records of processes and solutions. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the data center space, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Desirable

Experience with AWS infrastructure and services is a significant advantage, as is familiarity with the latest technologies in data center management. What you'll do
