HelloFresh is hiring a Warehouse Associate II to manage product gathering, packaging, and shipping processes. You'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while ensuring inventory accuracy. This position is entry-level and based in Edmonton, Alberta.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in a warehouse environment. You have experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, particularly in food storage areas. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth warehouse operations. You are proactive in identifying and addressing any discrepancies in product quality and quantity upon receipt. You are eager to learn and grow within the warehouse operations team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Warehouse Associate II, you will be responsible for accurately gathering, packaging, and preparing products according to weekly sales orders. You will establish practices and procedures for product shipping, picking, and storing, ensuring compliance with company standards. You will coordinate with your team to update inventory levels daily and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. You will work closely with the Production Management team to communicate any issues that may affect the production schedule. Additionally, you will lead safety improvement activities and manage safety performance metrics within the warehouse. Training new employees according to company standards will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
