You understand the complexities of integrating software features into vehicle operations and have a keen sense of how to translate technical requirements into user-friendly products. You are collaborative and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. You are also data-driven, using metrics to guide your decisions and improve product outcomes. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry and are excited about the potential of autonomous driving technology.
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes will help you thrive in this role. You should also have a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the future of mobility.
In this role, you will own the roadmap for integrating base vehicle software features, ensuring that they align with Waymo's operational workflows. You will work closely with engineering, design, and safety teams to translate security and operational requirements into successful product launches. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand customer needs, defining success metrics for product features, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog. You will also be involved in sprint planning and will lead discussions on product strategy and direction. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure that Waymo remains at the forefront of autonomous driving technology.
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with participation in a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan.
