Samsara is seeking a Core Enterprise Account Executive to help enterprise-sized customers digitize workflows and consolidate outdated technologies. This role involves managing complex sales processes and requires strong negotiation skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, where you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and built strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your ability to understand customer needs and articulate value propositions is exceptional, allowing you to effectively communicate the benefits of digital transformation in physical operations. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing your time and priorities independently. You are results-driven and motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on your clients' operations.
Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space or related industries is a plus, as is familiarity with technologies that enhance operational efficiency. You have a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement and can leverage data insights to drive decision-making. A background in consultative selling or solution-based sales will help you excel in this role.
As a Core Account Executive at Samsara, you will engage with some of our largest and most strategic enterprise customers. Your primary responsibility will be to help these organizations consolidate outdated technologies and digitize their workflows. You will conduct thorough needs assessments to understand their unique challenges and present tailored solutions that leverage our Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. You will manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach and discovery calls to negotiations and closing deals, typically ranging from $100k to $500k.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and customer success, to ensure a seamless transition for clients adopting new technologies. Your role will involve conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and managing trials, ensuring that stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the process. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and forecast sales accurately.
