Job Description

Amazon Logistics, Last Mile (AMZL) Japan is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) in support of program strategy for multiple strategic initiatives aimed at network expansion, bi-directional information sharing, global collaboration, scaling mechanisms and functional communities. This is an opportunity to help shape the business direction and operating model of a rapidly growing organization with a country wide span of control.

- 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Business level of English- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
- Owning the planning, organizing, managing, and execution of complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders
- Innovating for step-change improvement in best practice sharing, project collaboration, problem solving and decision making
- Partnering with communications, enablement, operations, systems and other key operational experts across the business to help lead, support, and influence new business initiatives
- Cultivate partnerships with subject matter expert and business groups to drive portfolio strategy, mobilization and delivery
- Driving executive decision-making regarding prioritization, sequencing, staffing and automation of critical process changes and systems
- Developing an in-depth understanding of Amazon’s products, business models, financial systems architecture and financial operations
- Ensuring transparency, alignment and clear communication of strategic programs and their resource impacts across the portfolio to key business and technology stakeholders
- Authoring executive communications regularly, serving as the authoritative source on the portfolio domain
- Business level of Japanese
