Overview

Microsoft is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead silicon system integration programs across hardware, software, and validation teams. You'll drive execution from pre-silicon planning through post-silicon validation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners. This role requires 4+ years of experience in engineering or technical program management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in engineering, product or technical program management, data analysis, or product development. You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional and cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to align diverse teams towards common goals. Your experience includes leading end-to-end delivery of complex silicon integration programs across multiple SoC platforms, showcasing your technical expertise and project management skills. You excel at building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architecture leads and execution managers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. You are adept at identifying risks, resolving blockers, and managing execution to deliver high-impact product solutions. Your background includes working with silicon manufacturers and OEMs, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the hardware ecosystem.

Desirable

Experience in the gaming industry or with gaming hardware is a plus, as it aligns with the mission of the Gaming Devices Ecosystem team at Microsoft. Familiarity with silicon system integration processes and validation techniques will further enhance your candidacy. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, and you are comfortable representing your organization in technical forums with external partners.

In this role, you will lead the execution of silicon system integration programs, coordinating efforts across hardware, software, and validation teams. You will be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams on architecture, emulation, validation, and system goals, ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page. Your role will involve managing internal and external partners' deliverables and dependencies, facilitating smooth collaboration and communication. You will represent Microsoft in forums with silicon suppliers and OEMs, advocating for the organization's interests and fostering strong partnerships. As you identify risks and resolve blockers, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of silicon integration projects from pre-silicon planning through post-silicon validation. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative Xbox hardware and accessories, enhancing the gaming experience for players worldwide.
