Overview

Chronograph is seeking an Associate Director or Director of Client Development to drive new client acquisition and define go-to-market strategies across EMEA and APAC. This role requires strong leadership and sales expertise in the private equity sector.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in client development and sales, particularly within the private equity or financial services sectors. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the nuances of client relationships and have successfully driven new business initiatives. You are a strategic thinker who can define and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and you possess excellent negotiation skills that lead to successful deal closures. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and can articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

Desirable

Experience in technology sales, particularly in cloud-based solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with private capital markets and a network of contacts within the industry will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A background in analytics or data management solutions will also be beneficial as you engage with clients on performance metrics and investment strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Client Development team, focusing on new client acquisition across the EMEA and APAC regions. You will establish and refine the sales function within the UK office, driving lead generation and managing the sales pipeline. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing proof of concept initiatives, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with high-profile clients. You will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Sales and other stakeholders to develop a robust framework for the sales team, ensuring that all efforts align with the company's strategic objectives. You will also monitor market trends and client feedback to continuously improve the sales approach and product offerings.
