Job Description

Amazon Global Selling is a key initiative to achieve our vision to offer customers the Earth’s largest selection around the world. We provide businesses the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform worldwide. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join our Marketplace in 10+ countries, adding millions of new products.
Global Selling team is looking for an experienced and talented Sales Ops Manager, who can dive deeper into data and drive initiatives to support business teams in bringing CN Sellers selling globally and resolving critical business challenges. The ideal candidate should have very strong ownership, be able to deal with ambiguity, perform strong analytical skills, manage stakeholders, work without authority/influence senior leadership, streamline process to improve efficiency and willing to deal with routine operational tasks. He/she should have superior communication, analytical and structured problem-solving skills. The experience of working autonomously with multiple teams in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment is highly preferred.


Key job responsibilities
• Set up business operation process across teams to smooth the whole process and tasks
• Closely work with business teams, PMs to drive implementation of operational tasks and collectively feedback for continuous task and process improvement and optimization.
• Build mechanism and community to reflect multiple team's operation, scale the critical ones in more teams.
• Work relentlessly to improve existing process.
• Regularly update progress and call out hits and misses to the leadership.

A day in the life
There is no typical day as Sales Ops Manager. You could start the day with an early meeting mapping out AM SOPs, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during recent reviews, or self-studying latest tech trends you are interested in, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.

The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, program plan, to deal execution and opportunity optimization.

In Amazon, it’s always Day 1!- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
