You have experience in health and safety management, ideally in a workplace setting. You are skilled in providing first aid and have a solid understanding of OSHA regulations and risk analysis. You are passionate about advocating for health and wellness principles, ensuring the wellbeing of associates in your care. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with teams to promote safety excellence. You are proactive in assessing and addressing health-related issues, making you a valuable asset to the workplace health and safety team.
As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and safety of associates. You will independently assess and administer first aid as needed, ensuring that all associates receive timely and appropriate care. You will participate in weekly safety committee meetings, contributing to discussions on health and safety initiatives. Your role will involve greeting new hires and providing them with essential information about workplace safety protocols. You will also engage in case management review meetings, collaborating with other health and safety professionals to address any ongoing health concerns. Your responsibilities will include referring associates to outside medical providers when necessary and providing guidance on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You will assist in promoting a culture of safety and wellness throughout the workplace, ensuring that all associates feel supported and informed about their health and safety.
