Shift4 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their high-velocity engineering team. You'll work hands-on with the platform tech stack to design and develop high-quality features. This role requires expertise in Java and C#.
You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in building and maintaining production systems. Your expertise in Java and C# allows you to deliver high-quality features while adhering to best practices. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and are committed to addressing technical debt and driving platform modernization. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product teams and engineering leadership to align technical solutions with business needs.
You are a technical expert in key parts of the platform, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues with deployed systems. Your experience includes providing Level 3 support in collaboration with DevOps teams, ensuring system reliability and performance. You understand the importance of system architecture and design, contributing to the development of robust technical solutions that meet user requirements.
Experience with cloud technologies and modern development practices is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira will help you navigate the fast-paced environment at Shift4.
