Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to make a global impact? Global Purchasing Program (GPP) owns cross-border inventory movements and import solutions for Amazon international stores. Our charter is to rapidly expand Amazon’s retail presence globally, partnering with business, technology, and product teams to bring Amazon’s selection and scale to our customers around the world. With GPP, the Global Direct Sourcing (GDS) team follows the North Star to build the most efficient direct-import supply chain by developing leading-edge technology and forging strategic source-to-destination vendor relationships.

We’re looking for a product manager to join our team in driving important international inventory initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, inventory management best practices, international trade regulations, and the technical know-how to support seamless and scalable inventory solutions. The scope will address complex challenges faced by export and import compliance, country-specific accounting and tax regulations, customer and vendor experience, and cross-stack application of solutions.

To excel in this role, you will:

- Be passionate about customer, vendor, and seller experience and deliver innovative enhancements on their behalf,
- Be willing to “roll up your sleeves” and operate with limited guidance,
- Have strong interpersonal skills, be able to influence both tech and non-tech stakeholders,
- Bring analytical horsepower and a deep curiosity about how things work,
- Possess highly advanced project management skills,
- Be commercially savvy and have excellence business judgement,
- Bring operational rigor, holding your stakeholders to highest of standards.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
