What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Harmonic, you will play a crucial role in the Discovery team, which is at the heart of our product and data engine. You will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that enable users to search, research, analyze, and evaluate startups effectively. Your work will involve sourcing and ingesting data from various fragmented and unstructured sources, transforming it into actionable insights that investors can rely on.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to develop features that enhance user experience and improve the overall functionality of our platform. Your contributions will directly impact how venture capital firms discover and evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring that promising startups are not overlooked.

You will also participate in technical screenings and design sessions, contributing your expertise to shape the direction of our technology stack. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
