Overview

Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to drive business growth. You are comfortable managing trials and conducting product demonstrations, showcasing the value of IoT solutions to potential clients. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate complex pricing discussions effectively. You are adaptable and can travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector or related technology fields is a plus. Familiarity with sales processes involving proof of concepts (POCs) and trial management will help you excel in this role. A background in industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation can provide valuable insights into customer needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how our platform can provide actionable insights to improve their efficiency and sustainability. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements, and you will be instrumental in conducting product trials and managing POCs. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial in building trust and securing long-term partnerships.
