IT Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient IT Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in finance or fintech. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems engineering, cloud technologies, and automation, with a self-starter mindset and a passion for secure, scalable infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Administer and optimize Microsoft Server and Unix/Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Design and support cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC configurations.
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, preferably with Cisco technologies.
• Collaborate with security and development teams to ensure compliance and performance.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in IT engineering within finance or fintech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Unix/Linux administration and scripting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Server technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.

Preference Given to those with:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• a Cisco Certification (CCNA or higher).
• an AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent).
• Knowledge of financial industry security and compliance standards.

Where You'll Work:
This position is based in-office at our new NYC Headquarters (100 Park Avenue, 15th Fl).
