Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in technology or software sales. You are motivated and dedicated, with a strong sales strategy that allows you to manage a book of business effectively. Your ability to build relationships with CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and developers is key to your success. You thrive in a hybrid working environment and are based in Toronto, ready to engage with clients and drive growth. You understand the importance of feedback and collaboration within a sales team, and you are eager to learn from experienced sales leaders. You are a product expert, particularly in MongoDB, and you can articulate its value to potential clients. Your time management skills are exceptional, allowing you to prioritize tasks and maximize your productivity.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a book of business worth several million dollars, focusing on the growth and retention of high-value accounts. You will proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities, ensuring a robust sales pipeline. Your strategic prospecting will involve reaching out to CTOs and IT leaders, where you will leverage your understanding of MongoDB to position the product effectively. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer adoption and satisfaction. Your role will require you to build strong relationships with clients, resulting in growth opportunities and long-term partnerships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth in your assigned region, utilizing your sales skills and knowledge of the technology landscape to achieve your targets. You will also participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your sales techniques and product knowledge, ensuring you remain at the forefront of the industry.
